Gordon & Amanda Colfax

Gordon and Amanda Colfax have been together since their teenage years and have dedicated their lives to serving Jesus and people. Their story is one of love, faith, and revival.

Gordon was born and raised in Keizer, Oregon, by his loving parents, Kathy and Dave Colfax. Though he didn’t grow up in a Christian home, he encountered Christ at 14 years old in a youth group, and that same year met Amanda. By 17, the two were high school sweethearts.

Amanda moved to Oregon at the age of three and was raised in a Christian home by her parents, Lupe and Linda Reyna, alongside her three siblings. Her family was known for their heart to serve the community and faithfully volunteer in local churches.

At 19, both Gordon and Amanda faced a difficult season as their families went through life-and-death trials. In the midst of the pain, they encountered God’s power in a fresh way. That season led them to rededicate their lives to Jesus, get engaged, and a year later, in August of 2014, become husband and wife.

Over the next several years, they planted deep roots in a church in Albany, Oregon, under a spiritual father who poured into their lives. In 2018, God stirred their hearts to step into ministry. What began as a vision for tent crusades soon grew into Revival Church. Starting with just four people, $100, and in a garage of a home for sale, God faithfully opened doors, from roller rinks to their own building in Albany, to a Salem campus that has seen His presence move powerfully. Today, Revival Church meets weekly at The YMCA at 10:30AM, continuing to pursue the mission of Matthew 28:19: “Go and make disciples of all nations.”

Though they pastor, Gordon and Amanda never imagined ministry would be their calling. Gordon studied mechanical engineering at Oregon State University and Amanda attended Portland State University, later working as a procurement officer. In 2019, they stepped into real estate and construction full-time, running their family-owned business while investing in properties. To this day, they take no salary from the church, only living by faith and building Revival on a foundation of honor, generosity, and obedience to God.

Now married for over 11 years, Gordon and Amanda love traveling for ministry, making memories with family, and pouring into the next generation. Pastor Amanda carries a deep passion for worship and raising up young worshippers. Pastor Gordon carries a strong passion for discipleship and equipping believers through the Word of God. Together, their heartbeat is simple and unshakable: souls and soul winning. More than a church, they believe Revival is a movement, one that starts in Salem and reaches the nations for the glory of Jesus.
